Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is hiring on behalf of a Leading Institutional Broking Firm to recruit an Equity Research Associate for the Institutional Desk in Mumbai.

You will support lead analysts, build financial models, perform fundamental research, and help prepare research reports and earnings updates.

The role requires 1–4 years in equity research, strong financial statement understanding, and proficient Excel skills; CFA/CA/MBA are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in Equity Research (Sell Side preferred).
• Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and MS Excel.
• CFA/CA/MBA (Finance) preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced institutional setup.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Analyst(s) in covering Indian listed companies across sectors.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks.
• Conduct in-depth fundamental research, industry analysis, and peer benchmarking.
• Assist in preparing research reports, earnings updates, and thematic notes.
• Track quarterly results, management commentary, and key sector developments.
• Participate in management meetings, concalls, and investor interactions.
• Maintain databases, financial projections, and research trackers.
