Citigroup Inc. is seeking a senior-level contributor for the Equities Cash Order Management System team in Pune District, India. This key role involves enhancing trading functionality and encompasses the full software development lifecycle. Responsibilities include direct engagement with Sales and Trading desks, as well as addressing technical hygiene and security measures.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in core Java application development, with a strong background in front-office trading applications and modern cloud technologies.
The Equities Cash Order Management System team is responsible for a global platform used by Citi traders and sales traders. This system is critical for trading in equities, derivatives, convertible bonds, and provides access to algorithmic trading. It also encompasses post-trade functionality, including allocations and ticketing.
In this senior‑level position, you will be a key contributor responsible for enhancing trading functionality to drive business growth. Your duties will encompass the full software development lifecycle, from initial development and testing to deployment and ongoing production support.
This role requires close partnership with a wide range of teams, including business analysts, the product platform team, QA, production support, as well as regulatory, compliance, and audit groups. A key part of your responsibilities will also be to proactively address technical hygiene, security, and vulnerability remediation to ensure the platform's integrity and stability.
