Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced AVEVA E3D / Unified Engineering (UE) Technical Consultant to design, configure, administer, and support AVEVA engineering solutions for EPC, Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities and Industrial projects.

The role requires hands-on AVEVA E3D Administration, PML customization, engineering data management, project setup, system integrations, and automation development, working with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver scalable engineering solutions and drive digital

Qualifications

• 5-12 years of AVEVA E3D / PDMS / UE experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support AVEVA E3D and UE solutions.
• Develop customizations and automation utilities using PML 1/2, .NET, and scripting.
• Administer AVEVA E3D/PDMS environments including project setup, DB and user management.
• Configure catalogs, specifications, templates, and engineering standards.
• Support data synchronization and integrations with ERP and DMS.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize performance.
• Assist upgrades, migrations, and deployments of AVEVA platforms.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams (Piping, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation).
• Develop reports and engineering automation solutions.
• Ensure adherence to data governance and engineering best practices.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AVEVA E3D / Unified Engineering (UE) Technical Consultant with strong expertise in AVEVA E3D, PML Development, Administration, and Unified Engineering (UE). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, customizing, administering, and supporting AVEVA engineering solutions for EPC, Oil Gas, Energy, Utilities, and Industrial projects.

The candidate should possess hands‑on experience in AVEVA E3D Administration, PML customization, engineering data management, project setup, system integrations, and automation development. The role involves collaborating with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to deliver scalable and efficient engineering solutions while supporting digital transformation initiatives across the engineering lifecycle.

Roles Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support AVEVA E3D and Unified Engineering (UE) solutions.


• Develop customizations and automation utilities using PML 1, PML 2, .NET, and scripting technologies.


• Administer AVEVA E3D/PDMS environments including project setup, database management, user management, and access control.


• Configure catalogs, specifications, templates, and engineering standards within AVEVA environments.


• Support engineering data synchronization and integrations with ERP, document management, and third‑party systems.


• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize system performance.


• Support upgrades, migrations, and implementation of AVEVA engineering platforms.


• Collaborate with Piping, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Process teams on project execution.


• Develop reports, extraction utilities, and engineering automation solutions.


• Ensure adherence to project standards, data governance practices, and engineering best practices.

Technical Requirement

• 5-12 years of experience in AVEVA E3D / PDMS / Unified Engineering (UE).
