Overview

Job Title: EHS Manager
Location: PAN India

JLL is seeking an experienced and dedicated HSSE/EHS Manager to lead our health, safety, security, and environmental initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive HSSE/EHS programs across our operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement HSSE/EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure regulatory compliance and promote best practices
  2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
  3. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  4. Provide HSSE/EHS training to employees at all levels of the organization
  5. Manage and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to HSSE/EHS performance
  6. Collaborate with management to integrate HSSE/EHS considerations into business strategies and decision-making processes
  7. Oversee emergency response planning and crisis management procedures
  8. Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and national HSSE/EHS regulations
  9. Lead sustainability initiatives and promote environmentally responsible practices
  10. Manage relationships with regulatory agencies and represent the company in HSSE/EHS-related matters
  11. Stay current with industry trends, emerging risks, and best practices in HSSE/EHS management
  12. Prepare and present regular reports on HSSE/EHS performance to senior management
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  2. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in HSSE/EHS management, preferably in a corporate or facility management environment
  3. In-depth knowledge of HSSE/EHS regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
  4. Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CMIOSH (Chartered Member of IOSH), or equivalent
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization
  7. Experience in the real estate or facility management industry
  8. Demonstrated leadership experience in managing HSSE/EHS programs and teams
  9. Proficiency in HSSE/EHS management software and Microsoft Office suite
  10. Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies
  11. Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
