Job summary

Kalyaneswari Tasra Mining in Jharkhand, India, seeks an Environmental Compliance professional to ensure effective regulatory adherence across coal mining operations, including EC approvals, monitoring, reporting and implementation of environmental measures.

You will coordinate with MoEFCC, CPCB, SPCB and forest authorities, manage EC renewals, prepare periodic compliance reports, monitor air and water quality, implement the EMP and oversee audits, documents and regulatory responses to stay ahead

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with EC, CTE, CTO, Forest Clearance and other statutory requirements
• Coordinate with MoEFCC, CPCB, SPCB, Forest Department and other regulatory authorities
• Manage EC compliance, renewals, amendments and expansion-related requirements
• Prepare and submit periodic environmental compliance reports and statutory returns
• Monitor air, water, noise, soil and other environmental parameters
• Implement and monitor the Environmental Management Plan (EMP), greenbelt, dust suppression and reclamation measures
• Conduct internal environmental audits and ensure timely closure of non-compliances and regulatory observations
• Maintain complete records of approvals, monitoring reports, inspections and regulatory correspondence
• Handle regulatory inspections, notices and queries and coordinate appropriate responses
• Keep management updated on environmental risks, compliance status and changes in environmental regulations
• Coordinate with Mining, HEMM, Projects, Safety and other departments to ensure environmental requirements are incorporated into operations

Job Purpose
