Emerson is seeking an Entry Test Development Engineer to join the Test Development group within the Research and Development Engineering team. You will help design and build test solutions (software and hardware) for new NI products and evaluate measurement coverage and reliability across circuits and systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product developers, proactive communication with internal customers, and involvement in trial productions and production-related developments.

Qualifications

• Higher education in electrical engineering / mechatronics.
• 0-2 years of electronics industry experience.
• Knowledge of measurement technology.
• Fundamental knowledge of analog and digital circuits.
• Proficiency in English at negotiation level.

Job Description:

We are looking for a new colleague for the Test Development group of the Research and Development Engineering team in the position of Entry Test Development Engineer.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Developing test solutions (software + hardware) for new NI products
• Evaluating measurement coverage and reliability
• Fundamental understanding the circuitry and functionality of new products
• Solving problems related to test development, coordinating tasks
• Collaborating with product developers, possibly even on foreign assignments
• Proactively maintaining contact and communication with our internal customers
• Supporting trial productions
• Performing developments related to products in production

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Higher education in electrical engineering / mechatronics
• 0-2 years of experience in the electronics industry
