Emerson is seeking a software engineer to rewrite and modernize an existing C# framework, focusing on performance and stability. You will contribute to building a scalable, auto-recovery cloud architecture and work closely with Test Engineering to troubleshoot issues.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Join our passionate team in rewriting, refactoring, and modernizing an existing framework using the latest C# standards. This role focuses on improving performance, enhancing compatibility, and ensuring stable operation.
• You’ll learn and use the latest C# practices while crafting a brand new, scalable, auto-recovery cloud architecture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the framework in strict cooperation with Test Engineering.
• Learn with subject matter experts and through your contribution ensure that projects meet user expectations, performance, and reliability standards.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant technical field and 1+ years of experience in software development.

• Willingness to learn how to use Docker & Kubernetes on a professional level.
• Openness to gradually growing the complexity of problem-solving tasks.
• An ambitious and collaborative approach to thrive and excel within a distributed team.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Basic understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Hands-on experience with hardware.
• A passion for code quality and continuous improvement.
