Job summary

Accenture India Private Limited is seeking a Network Architect to design, deploy, and manage global enterprise networks, observability, and automation. You will lead transformation programs across data center, cloud, and network areas, articulating a clear architecture vision and roadmaps.

The role requires 15+ years of experience, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to adapt to evolving tech landscapes, with 24x7 availability for shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have basic networking skills: Routing & Switching, Firewalls, Data Center & Cloud Networking (AWS/Azure) with CCNA, JNCIA & Cloud equivalent.
• Minimum 3 Must Have skills: Enterprise Network Management (Solarwinds, HP NNM, etc), Observability & AIOps (Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace/AppDynamics), Network Automation, RCA, Incident & Problem Management.
• Good to have skills include Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git, REST APIs, CI/CD.
• Knowledge in Wireless, SDWAN, SDN is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME in networking projects and drive architecture independently.
• Participate in team discussions and project planning.
• Handle project setup including scheduling, stakeholder analysis, and risk assessment.
• Coordinate resources and ensure project quality, timelines, and costs.

Summary: As a Network Architect, you will design, deploy and manage global enterprise networks, automation, observability, reliability engineering, and manage large-scale transformation programs. You will work within defined operating model and processes, implementing technology at the network level across data center, cloud and network areas. This role requires envisioning and articulating a clear and compelling architecture vision, establishing a target state for the enterprise, and developing a detailed transformation roadmap. The position demands continuous engagement with various stakeholders to ensure the architecture supports business objectives and adapts to evolving technological landscapes. The Network Architect plays a pivotal role in guiding the organization through complex changes by fostering innovation and ensuring cohesive integration across multiple domains.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
2. Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
3. Execution of the project setup (project scheduling, stakeholder analysis, risk assessment, etc.)
4. Coordination of project resources.
5. Project quality assurance.
6. Monitoring of quality, time and costs in the project.
7. Participation in project meetings and coordination.
8. Advice and support of the responsible IT infrastructure managers or stakeholders of the client.
9. Ensuring compliance with guidelines, e.g. documentation of the project.
10. Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
11. Ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
13. Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference.
14. Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
15. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills

1. Mandatory Basic Networking skills: Routing & Switching, Firewalls, Data Center & Cloud Networking (AWS/Azure) (CCNA, JNCIA & Cloud equivalent)
2. Must Have Skills (Minimum 3): Enterprise Network Management (Solarwinds, HP NNM, etc), Observability & AIOps (Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace/AppDynamics), Network Automation, RCA, Incident & Problem Management
3. Good to have Skills: Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git, REST APIs, CI/CD
4. Good to have knowledge on Skills: Wireless, SDWAN, SDN
5. Proficiency in designing and deployment of Network Management, Observability tools and Log Management. Customizing metrics/ alerts/ log analysis.
6. Strong understanding of network management protocols and technologies.
7. Knowledge of Network Reliability Engineering (NRE), SRE, SLI/SLO, Error Budgets preferred.
8. Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and platforms.
9. Hands-on experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
