The Work

This role serves as a point person for client support issues, documenting and escalating as needed. Responsibilities include maintaining Windows servers and virtual environments, deploying server configurations, performing upgrades, creating documentation, and supporting business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

  • Manage the Enterprise Support ticket queue
  • Troubleshoot Windows servers for users
  • Close and document support tickets
  • Maintain detailed records of support interactions
  • Meet SLA requirements and escalate issues as necessary
  • Develop knowledge of APEX software products
  • Administer Microsoft servers (Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint, etc.)

  • Experience with standalone and virtual Windows servers (2016, 2019 R2, 2022)
  • Proficiency with major x86 hardware and virtualization (Nutanix a plus)
  • Solid skills in VMware, Windows, and Linux system administration
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and manage projects with attention to detail
  • Experience with disaster recovery planning
