Job summary

Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services seeks a Principal Enterprise Architect to bridge business strategy with production-grade cloud implementations. You will drive discovery, map business capabilities, and define long-term roadmaps, applying software engineering principles to modernize apps and architect cloud-native AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• 10 years of customer-facing experience translating enterprise needs into cloud architectures.
• Experience writing software in Java, Python, or Go.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience writing software in one or more languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go).
• Experience developing software, internet infrastructure, or migration solutions in virtual environments.
• Experience leading technical execution for multi-system projects and delivering technical strategies to executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience designing cloud-native distributed systems and integrating artificial intelligence models into enterprise applications.
• Experience establishing technical strategies, data governance standards, and architectures for regulated enterprise environments.
• Experience with standard IT security practices, including identity and access management, data protection, and encryption.
• Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, continuous integration pipelines, and container orchestration technologies.
• Ability to advise executive stakeholders on capability mapping and aligning technical roadmaps with business objectives.
