Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a technology leader to establish and drive our AI-Native Full Stack Engineering capability. The leader will define the strategy, operating model, and transformation roadmap for modern application engineering powered by GenAI and Agentic AI.

Location is PAN INDIA and requires 14+ years of experience in software engineering architecture or transformation. The role blends technology leadership with customer advocacy, engineering excellence, and innovation, overseeing capability

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering architecture, engineering transformation, or consulting.
• Experience in leading engineering transformation programs.
• Exposure to Agentic AI frameworks and autonomous software engineering concepts.

Job Summary

Seeking a technology expert to establish and drive our AI-Native Full Stack Engineering capability. The leader will be responsible for defining the strategy, operating model, competency framework, and transformation roadmap for modern application engineering practices powered by GenAI and Agentic AI.

The role combines technology leadership, customer advocacy, engineering excellence, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Capability Leadership
• Define strategy & roadmap for AI-Native Full stack engineering
• Develop capability frameworks, competency models, and learning pathways.
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, reference architectures, and engineering principles
• Drive innovation and technology adoption across modern apps capability
• AI-Native Software Engineering Transformation
• Define approaches for transforming the software development lifecycle through AI-assisted requirements engineering, AI-powered architecture design, and Agentic software development
• Customer & Business Support
• Support strategic pursuits, customer workshops, and transformation programs
• Advise customers on AI-Native software engineering operating models
• Develop transformation frameworks and value realization models
• Capability Development & Mentoring
• Mentor customer-facing FDEs and engineering teams
• Build internal capability programs

• Full Stack Java (Spring Boot – REST APIs / MVC)
• Microservices & integration (REST APIs, messaging basics, resiliency patterns)
• ORM & data access (JPA / Hibernate) + SQL (MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle)
• Frontend: React / Angular (components, state management, API integration)
• DevOps: CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven/Gradle builds, testing, release basics)
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes fundamentals
• Cloud (AWS/Azure): compute, storage, secrets, monitoring (basics)
• AI integration (Spring AI, Azure OpenAI / OpenAI API – Java SDK patterns)
