Job summary

Birla Carbon is looking for a dedicated professional responsible for managing application maintenance and development of Karvy projects in Thane, Maharashtra. The role includes monitoring service uptimes, resolving issues, and ensuring service level agreements are met.

The ideal candidate will supervise project execution and maintain communication with stakeholders through dashboards and reports, ensuring the timely delivery of projects while addressing any challenges that may arise.

Job description

Job Purpose

This position is primarily responsible for managing Application Maintenance and Development of Karvy projects on an ongoing basis with the help of internal stakeholders. Additionally, it manages day‑to‑day issues, monitoring of service uptimes, issue resolution, and problem management. The role also manages Management of Service Level Agreements and Service Level Objectives at both Program and Project level.

Key Result Areas

KRA 1: Production Support

• Effectively manage production support for end users.
• Monitor and review open issues on a daily basis.
• Initiate action on issues based on ageing report.
• Ensure proper coordination of issues raised through various sources – IT Helpdesk, Application Helpdesk, Power Users.
• Ensure proper SLAs are maintained.

KRA 2: Project Supervision

• Supervise execution of all projects within timelines to support business needs.
• Regularly track project against milestones and elevate any slip‑ups likely to impact the project.
• Regularly organize and conduct project team meetings to discuss plans, progress, issues, etc.
• Classify projects and decide on priority in consultation with business users.
• Provide dashboards and reports for effective monitoring of the program.
• Monthly reporting to stakeholders using dashboards and reports.
• Monitor the functioning of the Project Management Tool (RTC) to ensure it meets end‑to‑end requirements.
