Job summary

Procurement Partners is seeking an Enterprise Architect to steer the architecture of its enterprise SaaS platform from Noida, India. The role demands guiding product teams toward scalable, secure and AI-enabled solutions, with leadership across engineering functions.

As a senior IC, you will mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and champion best practices like DDD, SOLID, and secure coding, while partnering with product, security and governance teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 8+ years designing enterprise software architecture.
• Experience architecting enterprise SaaS with distributed systems and cloud-native expertise.
• Deep AWS experience (Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, EventBridge, DynamoDB, Redshift, S3).
• Strong software-architecture background: microservices, event-driven systems, event sourcing, DDD, multi-tenant SaaS.
• Applied AI: Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, responsible AI governance.
• Data tech depth across SQL and NoSQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redis, Elasticsearch).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the enterprise software architecture roadmap.
• Define architectural standards, patterns, reference architectures, and technology strategies.
• Lead architecture reviews for new products and major initiatives across product lines.
• Drive modernization of legacy apps to cloud-native, modular architectures.
• Design AI-ready architectures supporting ML and Generative AI across the platform.
• Architect AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and intelligent workflows.
• Partner with PM and Data Science to identify AI-enabled opportunities and guide integration.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and establish principles for responsible AI, security, privacy.

About the Role

Procurement Partners is hiring an Enterprise Architect to define and guide the technical architecture of our enterprise SaaS platform. You will set the architectural direction across our product lines, ensuring our applications are scalable, secure, resilient, and AI-ready, while serving as a technical leader across engineering teams.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, Infrastructure, Security, and DevOps to modernize our technology stack and integrate AI capabilities, from Large Language Models and Retrieval-Augmented Generation to event-driven, cloud-native services, directly into our products.

This is a senior individual contributor role with deep influence and no direct reports. If you love turning complex, multi-team technical challenges into clear architecture and mentoring engineers along the way, we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Do

• Design and maintain the enterprise software architecture roadmap, aligned with business objectives and product strategy.
• Define architectural standards, design patterns, reference architectures, and technology strategies for engineering teams to build against.
• Lead architecture reviews for new products and major initiatives, and ensure architectural consistency across multiple product lines.
• Drive modernization of legacy applications into cloud-native, modular, and scalable architectures.
• Design AI-ready software architectures that support Machine Learning and Generative AI capabilities across the platform.
• Architect AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and intelligent workflows.
• Partner with Product Management and Data Science to identify AI-enabled product opportunities and guide model integration, AI services, and AI APIs.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and establish architectural principles for responsible AI, security, privacy, and governance.
• Design scalable, cloud-native architectures on AWS, defining microservices strategies and service boundaries.
• Design event-driven architectures using messaging and streaming technologies, and establish API-first integration standards.
• Support platform engineering initiatives and shared infrastructure services, and improve system resiliency, scalability, and disaster recovery.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to engineering leadership, mentor senior engineers and architects, and lead design sessions and technical workshops.
• Promote engineering best practices including Domain-Driven Design, SOLID principles, clean architecture, and secure coding standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps to improve deployment automation and observability, and drive adoption of reusable platform services and frameworks.
• Partner with Product, Security, Compliance, and executive leadership on technology strategy, architectural governance, and roadmap planning.

What You'll Bring

• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 8+ years designing enterprise software architecture.
• Experience architecting enterprise SaaS applications with strong distributed-systems and cloud-native expertise.
• Deep AWS experience (Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, EventBridge, DynamoDB, Redshift, S3).
• Strong software-architecture background: microservices, event-driven systems, event sourcing, Domain-Driven Design, and multi-tenant SaaS.
• Applied AI experience: Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and responsible AI governance.
• Data technology depth across SQL and NoSQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redis, Elasticsearch) and vector databases.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
• Healthcare, procurement, or supply chain software experience and familiarity with HIPAA and SOC 2 are a plus; AWS or TOGAF certification is a plus.
