You will lead design of target architectures for OMS, ERP, and CRM integration, select platforms, and oversee API-led integration, cloud strategy, and data models. The role emphasizes collaboration with business and IT teams to translate goals into scalable, secure technical roadmaps.

• Recommend OMS platforms and integration strategies (API-led, ESB, event streaming).
• Design robust integrations across ecommerce, ERP, warehouse, and payments; promote reusable APIs.
• Define phased transformation roadmap from MVP to scale, balancing quick wins with long-term vision.

Job description

As a Solution Architect at HCLTech, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing future-ready enterprise architectures that align with business objectives and technology standards. This position offers the opportunity to drive digital transformation initiatives, architect scalable omnichannel solutions, and influence strategic technology decisions at an organizational level.

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Define Target Architecture: Design future-state Order Management (OM) architectures—focusing on omnichannel enablement—aligned with enterprise standards such as cloud, microservices, APIs, and event-driven paradigms. Ensure architectural scalability, resilience, and flexibility.
• Business–IT Alignment: Translate business goals (e.g., accelerated fulfillment, enhanced customer experience, cost optimization) into actionable architecture. Engage with business stakeholders (sales, supply chain, customer service), product owners, and IT delivery teams to ensure alignment.
• Assess Current Technology Landscape: Evaluate existing OMS, ERP, WMS, and CRM systems to identify gaps, redundancies, and technical debt. Develop as-is to to-be roadmaps for system evolution.
• Technology Selection: Recommend optimal OMS platforms (SAP S/4, Salesforce OMS, IBM Sterling, Manhattan, etc.). Decide on integration patterns (API-led, ESB, event streaming), data architecture (MDM, real-time vs. batch), and cloud strategies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Integration Architecture: Design robust integrations across eCommerce platforms, ERP, warehouse/logistics, and payment systems. Promote adoption of reusable APIs and canonical data models for interoperability.
• Transformation Roadmap: Define phased rollout strategies (MVP to scale), balancing quick wins with long-term architectural vision. Manage dependencies across the transformation program.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience in enterprise architecture for large-scale IT environments.
• Proficiency wit h Java/Kotlin microservices and cloud-native frameworks (Spring Boot, Quarkus).
• Deep understanding o f APIs, API gateways (e.g., Kong), and integration frameworks.
• Expertise in event-driven and workflow technologies (messaging/streaming, sagas, long-running workflows with Temporal).
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker/podman, Cloud Run, Kubernetes (GKE), and containerization platforms.
• Experience with relational (Postgres) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, BigTable, BigQuery), data pipelines, and caching solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and DevSecOps practices.
• Advanced security, observability, CI/CD, and cross-functional technology skills.
