Job summary

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced candidates passionate about content editing and review of school books and learning material related to the K12 curriculum, and 5-7 years of experience in content editing. A very good knowledge of the English language and great proficiency in written English is a must. An academic background in English is also a must.

The candidate should also be eager to work with academic content, have an inquisitive mind, and should be good at finding and correcting errors. The candidate should be able to reevaluate and review the content of school textbooks (K12 segment), lesson plans and question papers in a meaningful manner.

Mandatory Skills:

• A sound knowledge of English grammar and language
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• An eye for detail
• Good at spotting and correcting errors
• Able to conduct meaningful research and cross-check facts in order to review the content
• Familiar with basic content editing styles
• Familiar with editing PDF and word soft copies, with PDF tools and track changes

Eligibility:

• Should have a Masters degree in English
• Should have proven experience in editing, particularly in the publishing and EdTech industry
• Should have an education in an English Medium background
• Should be passionate about content editing and research
• Should be familiar with school education and school textbooks
• Should be eager to learn and quick to absorb knowledge
• Should have a proven expertise in the English language
