Job summary

Acesoft Labs seeks a procurement specialist to coordinate between vendors and the engineering team, ensuring timely delivery, accurate BOM finalization, and smooth PO processing. You will work closely with procurement, assemblies, and validation teams to support CAPEX/OPEX projections and rapid procurement of critical components.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in vendor coordination/procurement.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between vendors and engineering to communicate schedules and constraints.
• Monitor deadlines to ensure timely vendor deliveries.
• Finalize BOM and schedule with assembly and engineering.
• Coordinate with procurement to generate final PO.
• Serve as single point of contact for vendor queries to minimize engineering interaction.
• Identify commercially available equipment/components and provide availability, cost, and SLA.
• Support CAPEX/OPEX projections with engineering and stakeholders.
• Address day-to-day unforecasted engineering needs to enable quick procurement.
• Coordinate with validation labs and logistics to ensure delivery of requirements.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Liaison between vendors and engineering, by communicating the schedule, constraints and engineering details effectively for a smoother coordination. Monitor schedules and deadlines to ensure timely delivery from vendors.

Closely work with assembly house and engineering to finalize the BOM and schedule.

Work with procurement to finalize on the vendor and follow the process required to generate a final PO.

Be the single point of for any vendor queries to minimize interaction time from engineering to improve a productive environment.

Work closely with engineering to identify equipment/ component available commercially and provide all the related details like availability, cost and SLA

Work closely with engineering on the development needs and work closely with relevant stakeholders to projecting the CAPEX/ OPEX needs YoY.

Work on the quick day to day engineering needs which could be un-forecasted gets quick attention and ensure their procurement quickly by sensitizing the need with relevant stakeholders.

Work with validation engineers to support them with their day to day activity like coordination with lab support and rework team.

Work closely with logistics and shipment to ensure timely delivery of engineering team needs.
