As a Leader, You Will Be:

• Facilitating discussions and leading decision‑making on all engineering aspects of the team
• Defining and executing engineering plans for the areas under ownership
• Driving engineering best practices for the team
• Implementing and maintaining production system hygiene, both engineering and process, in the ownership area
• Overseeing the health of the business directly owned by the team
• Challenging business & product on outcomes, channeling feedback into execution, and ensuring accountability for engineering outputs
• Hiring, mentoring, and retaining a high‑quality engineering team
• Managing stakeholder relationships, including business, product, operations, and clients/vendors

As a Leader, You Must Have:

• Proven experience designing and developing solutions ranging from simple to complex, including large‑scale distributed systems
• Track record building and managing high‑performing software development teams
• Hands‑on experience driving design and architecture across multiple subsystems with senior teammates
• Bachelors/Masters/PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent)
• 8‑10 years of software development experience, with at least 4 years leading teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to present complex technical information clearly to varied audiences
• Experience in start‑up or fast‑paced environments considered an advantage
