Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Engineering Manager to join the Autodesk Platform Services (OSS) Engineering team. The APS platform offers APIs and services that help our customers access and use their design and engineering data via the cloud. This is a hybrid role based in Pune location, India. We are looking for a strong leader and communicator with a balance of technical knowledge and business acumen – someone who has led teams developing scalable cloud services in a fast-paced, agile environment. Minimum Qualifications

• 10-14 years of hands-on experience in the industry designing and developing platform components and highly available cloud services at scale
• 4+ years of experience in leading, mentoring, and managing development teams, or other similar leadership roles
• Experience managing strong talent at senior levels, such as Principal Engineers / Architects
• Knowledge and experience with AWS services strongly preferred
• Experience in hiring key talent and setting up teams for success
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, including specification, quality assurance, and documentation
• Experience partnering with Product Management on goal alignment, risk measurement, and driving business outcomes through cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to state complex subjects simply for a variety of audiences, and to articulate effectively to both engineering teams and senior leadership
• Experience working in and managing geo-distributed teams across time zones
