Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise software development with hands-on coding.
• Strong backend development skills in Python and/or Java.
• Experience building modern web apps using React.
• Solid knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineers and delivering complex features.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and execution for the Container Orchestration Security product.
• Collaborate with Engineering to design, build, and deliver enterprise-grade capabilities.
• Drive security across Kubernetes, containers, runtimes, workloads, and cloud-native environments.

SecPod is looking for a Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and evolution of our cloud-native security product within the Saner Platform. You will define how enterprises continuously discover, assess, prioritize, remediate, and verify security risks across Kubernetes, containers, and modern cloud-native environments.

This is a highly technical, hands‑on product leadership role. You will work with Engineering team to define technical requirements, make technical architecture and design decisions, prioritize features, validate implementations, and deliver innovative capabilities that help enterprises secure Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native workloads.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and execution of Container Orchestration Security product.
• Work with Engineering team to design, build, and deliver enterprise-grade product capabilities.
• Drive product development across Kubernetes security, container security, runtime protection, workload security, and cloud-native security.
• Review product designs, architectures, and implementations to ensure technical excellence and customer value.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, open-source projects, security research, and industry frameworks to shape the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise software development, with significant hands‑on development experience.
• Strong expertise in Python and/or Java for backend development.
• Good experience building modern web applications using React.
• Strong knowledge of databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Experience leading and mentoring software engineers and driving delivery of complex features.
• Ability to bridge business needs, product strategy, and technical implementation.
