Job description

Position Overview and Objective

The manager for Vulnerability Management team has a strong backend development skills (Python, Go), hands‑on cloud experience (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform), and deep familiarity with automation testing using test management tools like X‑ray or similar, CI/CD (GitHub Actions). They bring experience managing high‑performing teams and building test environments to improve quality of the product as well as emerging AI/LLM technologies (AWS Bedrock Flows, Databricks MLFlow). Familiarity with cybersecurity and Vulnerability Management / Exposure Management is essential, along with the ability to guide architecture, product roadmaps, and cross‑functional collaboration across engineering and other functional areas.


Responsibilities


  • Manage team(s) that will deliver high quality, innovative software solutions, in collaboration with stakeholders such as architects, developers, product managers, CSEs and prod support people.

  • Works with Product Team to define and deliver on the 3-month roadmap.

  • Support the team by providing direction, clarity and removing obstacles.

  • Ensuring teams are highly motivated, performing well, and delivering work on time.

  • Remove any blockers preventing teams from getting their work done.

  • Making sure each team is clear on the objectives and goals they are striving to achieve.

  • Working with team members to deliver the key features.

  • Working with Architects to define and execute on the company's technical roadmap.

  • Establish career development plans and achievable goals for your reports and support their ongoing growth.

  • Develop and mentor careers of team members by executing regular one on ones, helping them grow their technical and leadership skills.

  • Drive continuous development process improvements.

  • Build collaborative relationships with other teams and stakeholders within the organization.

  • Oversee the full software development life cycle.

  • Ensure their teams is following ISMS regulations: Secure Coding Practice. Acceptable Use.

  • Execute administrative responsibilities: Manage employee compensation and vacation time.

  • Manage and approve conference and training budgets.


Experience and Requirements

10 to 15 years of relevant professional experience.


Minimum 1 year of people management experience, including leading, mentoring, and developing team members.


Bachelor’s degree (BS) or Master’s degree (MS) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.
