Job summary

Syngene International Limited in Faridabad, Haryana seeks an Engineering & Maintenance Engineer to oversee facility and utility equipment maintenance, calibration, and validation activities.

The role involves planning preventive maintenance, coordinating with vendors, handling EQMS activities, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards while supporting facility modifications and project design using AutoCAD.

Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in engineering & maintenance.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance, calibration and validation.
  • Knowledge of EQMS and change-control processes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review standard operating procedures for engineering and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with internal and external regulatory auditors.
  • Respond to regulatory and sponsor findings with BU teams.
  • Manage EQMS activities including change control, deviations and CAPA.
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance, calibration and validation of facilities/equipment.
  • Carry out breakdown maintenance of facility and utility equipment.
  • Review calibration/PM/validation after completion.
  • Create purchase requests in SAP and review SAP orders.
  • Coordinate with users and vendors for maintenance tasks.
  • Project design (AutoCAD) and execution for facility modifications.
  • Manage access control and coordination with electrical inspections.

Role Accountabilities :
  • Preparation and reviewing standard operation procedure for engineering and maintenance activities.
  • Coordinating with internal and external regulatory auditors.
  • Coordinating with BU team to respond to the regulatory and sponsor findings and recommendations
  • Handling of EQMS activities (change control, deviations and CAPA).
  • Planning and execution of preventive maintenance, Calibration and Validation of facility/lab, utility equipment’s and its accessories as per the schedule in coordination with vendor and user.
  • Carrying out breakdown maintenance of facility and utility equipment’s.
  • Adherence to standard operating procedure, safety and quality requirements.
  • Review of qualification documents related to facility and utility equipment.
  • Issue of work permits to external agencies and adherence of safety requirements.
  • Coordination with the user and vendor for any maintenance related activity.
  • Review and Approval of calibration, Preventive maintenance and validation activities after completion
  • Archival of E&M related facility/Utility documents
  • Creation of Purchase request in SAP (spares, equipment services and Renewal of AMC).
  • Reviewing SAP orders.
  • Attending of facility related complaints.
  • Coordination with user, purchase and vendor for the facility related modification work.
  • Project design (AutoCAD) and execution related to facility modification
  • Enabling/revoking the Physical (door) access to the facility based on the access request in the physical access management system.
  • Coordination with Electrical inspectorate for periodic electrical inspection and compliance.
