Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manage and provide architectural guidance and scope across pods supporting all roles in the pods
Manage all roles across pods and be technically astute to do so
Administrative support for team
Remove road blocks

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications):

BE / B Tech or ME / M Tech, preferably in a technical or scientific field, with 13 or more years of experience in IT project-based environment, or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and / or training.
Minimum 3 Years of proven experience in software engineering resource management who can mentor and coach engineers to help them grow, conduct performance reviews and foster a healthy, inclusive, and productive team culture.
Guide the team in architectural and design decisions, ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and deployments and provide constructive feedback.
Plan and prioritize engineering work based on business needs, Define and track project timelines, deliverables, and KPIs, Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
Implement and continuously improve engineering processes (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and operational excellence
Act as the liaison between engineering and other departments, communicate progress, blockers, and results to stakeholders and Align engineering efforts with business goals and strategy.
Advanced knowledge of Node JS and NPM, HTML5, JS and CSS
Oversee implementation of modern CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable, and repeatable deployments. Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring processes.
Test Driven Development, Quality forward development practices, with automation at forefront for continuous quality
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in IT engineering resource management.
Experience in cloud environment, experience with FinOps, using tools like Jira or Digital ai Agility, is a plus.
Experience or knowledge in AWS / Serverless architecture (Ex: Lambda, API GW).

Provide guidance to software engineering teams who are developing and enhancing applications that combine enterprise data with analytical models and are used throughout the operation

Project Management: Oversee the entire design and development process for Delta's Omnichannel initiatives.
Resource Allocation: Manage the allocation of IT engineering resources across various projects and initiatives based on project requirements, resource availability, and skillsets.
Capacity Planning: Collaborate with Onsite teams and department heads to forecast resource needs and plan for future projects, ensuring that the team has the necessary resources to meet project demands.
Resource Utilization: Monitor resource utilization and productivity, identifying opportunities to optimize resource allocation and improve efficiency.
Skills Assessment: Assess the skillsets and strengths of IT engineering team members to ensure optimal alignment of resources with project requirements.
Resource Development: Identify training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of IT engineering team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Performance Management: Provide regular performance feedback and evaluations to IT engineering team members, recognizing achievements and addressing areas for improvement
