Job Description

To support this mission, Syngentas IT & Digital team is seeking a Engineering Lead - Data & Analytics in Pune. This role will support the delivery for leading data and engineering teams within our Data Mesh platform, oversee product delivery, and spearhead the modernization of our AI, BI, and agentic analytics solutions.

Accountabilities

The role will be responsible for leading the data and engineering teams on our Data Mesh platform & product delivery as well as driving the modernization and future of AI/BI and agentic analytics solutions. They will provide knowledge, experience and hands on expertise on efficient data and engineering practices, use of Serverless Technologies, Containers (Docker/Vagrant), Databricks, Automated Deployment Tools, Testing Tools GitHub and AWS. This includes recruitment, contracting, evaluation and mentoring the team.

• Ideally experienced in a similar role in the industrial sector.
• Strong team management and people communication (written and verbal) skills in English
