Job summary

A leading engineering company in Mumbai is seeking an electrical engineer proficient in high-voltage and low-voltage systems. The role involves providing technical support, developing engineering solutions, and guiding a team through the complete project cycle. Candidates should have knowledge of electrical engineering software and be able to prepare engineering calculations and specifications. This position requires strong coordination skills with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high-voltage systems including Gas insulated switchgear, Transformers, reactors.
• Knowledge of Low voltage systems, including UPS systems and cable sizing.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering software such as ETAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the design team developing the engineering solution.
• Develop engineering solutions to problems reflecting constructability and operability issues.
• Prepare and check engineering calculations and drawings on the project team.
• Support the preparation of project specifications, requisitions, and reports.
• Guide a team of electrical engineers & designers for the complete project/engineering cycle.
• Coordinate with contractor or engineering department and client for comment resolution.
