Job summary

AECOM in Bangalore is seeking an Engineer - Wet Utilities / Planning to join the Enterprise Capabilities team. The role focuses on modeling and planning water networks, drainage and irrigation systems using industry tools, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Master’s in civil/water resources is required, with 3–5 years’ experience, including exposure to MER/UK regions. Strong communication and independent work skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in civil/water resources/environment/PHE.
• 3–5 years of experience; exposure to MER & UK projects.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently at times.
• Able to see the “bigger picture” and take a birds-eye view of projects.
• Confident, with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Model and plan wet utilities using design tools and software.
• Provide technical support for relocation/shifting of assets and drawings.
• Perform clash analysis using Navisworks.
• Work in Common Data Environment (ProjectWise and BIM 360).
• Collaborate to deliver projects within deadlines and budgets.

Job Description

Having hands-on experience with modeling tools like Water GEMS, Sewer GEMS, Storm CAD, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS would be advantage.

Having good hands-on experience with design tools like Civil 3D, MicroStation, Open Roads is must. Knowledge of tools like E-Survey

Wet Utilities - Potable Water, Fire Fighting, Secondary & Tertiary irrigation network, Storm Water Drainage, Treated Sewage Effluent & Sewerage network (pressure plus gravity design experience with the help of AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Civil3D)

Provide technical support to designers for relocation/shifting of assets, asset tagging, connection drawings, standard drawings etc.

Clash Analysis experience using Navisworks

Experience in working in Common Data Environment (ProjectWise and BIM 360)

Qualifications

Master’s in civil / water resources / Environment / PHE

3-5 Years (Exposure to outside India projects preferably MER & UK region)

Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times.

Able to see the “bigger picture” and take a birds-eye view of projects

Confident, with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team.

Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
