Section II: Purpose of the Role

To conduct technology upgradation & improvement activities as per defined CTS plan for engineering, procurement, and operations teams with the objective of driving best-in-class process safety, reliability, costs, and environmental performances.

Section III: Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Follow applicable HSEF procedures/practices with awareness of environmental statutory regulations and safety protocols. Participate in process safety management activities.
• Liaise with site functions to ensure reliability and safety of operations and meet production targets.
• Stay updated with leading technology advancements and participate in training to enhance competencies.
• Execute end-to-end CTS plan and technology improvement processes as per milestones for pilot/scale-up studies.
• Review engineering documents and conduct process engineering work as per plan.
• Provide technology input for root cause analysis of complex process/engineering issues.
• Evaluate feedstock, chemicals, additives, catalysts, and fuels, and report deviations.
• Design technical integrity of all changes/plant modifications as per standards and guidelines.
• Develop, validate, and maintain simulation/APC models.
• Create/update MIS reports and other technology comparison reports.
• Anticipate constraints/trends in internal technology and product application; recommend alternatives.
• Define improvements and upgrades to existing processes/equipment/technologies for higher capacity and efficiency.
• Support implementation of plant improvement projects.
