Engineer – Supplier Technical Support

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering
• 5-8 years of experience in supplier/part development

Required Skills

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes like machining, sheet metal, moulding, casting (High pressure die casting, Investment casting, - preferred)
• Sound knowledge of Geometrical dimensioning (ISO GPS) & tolerances (Personal involved in new product development of mechanical parts)
• Highly analytical mind, with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal & written communication skills in English

Preferred Knowledge/Exp

• SAP PLM knowledge
• Global Exposure

Key Responsibilities

• Local technical clarifications with suppliers, SCM (Supply Chain Management)
• Local contact for operations and supplier for technical support.
• Local process review (technology audit) at the suppliers.
• On-site first sample qualification.
• On-site support of the Global Production Support for serialised parts (RDBU) and Product Maintenance for transfer project (RDBM) teams.
