Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior Engineer-Structures for its Bangalore, India team to lead structural projects, oversee design development, and ensure compliance with local codes. You will perform complex calculations, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.

The role requires a Civil/Structural background, a Master’s degree, PE license, and hands-on experience with ETABS/SAFE and 3D modeling.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on project engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Expertise in concept design, buildability, detailed design, and construction techniques.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software and 3D modeling.
• Strong CAD skills and experience with 3D working environments.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in India.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer-Structures to join our team in Bangalore, India. In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee structural engineering projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Develop and review structural designs for various construction projects
• Perform complex structural calculations and analysis using advanced software tools
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success and client satisfaction
• Create detailed technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct site visits to assess structural integrity and provide expert recommendations
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall growth of the structural engineering team
• Participate in project planning and resource allocation to meet deadlines and budget constraints
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and innovative structural solutions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
