Minimum Qualifications

Job Description

ML Libraries Development Engineer (8 to 12 years of relevant experience): The CPU architecture team is driving the core math libraries needed for ML/AI acceleration. This role involves exposure to Qualcomm’s cutting edge SoC and ML/AI platforms. Responsibilities include optimizing core ML kernels using advancements like SME and SVE of the ARM CPU architecture and enhancing the performance of ML models on the CPU of the Qualcomm SoC. Candidates with 8-12 years of relevant experience who are willing to work in Bangalore are welcome to apply.

• Understand ARM CPU architecture fundamentals and ARM Arch64 ISA.
• Optimize kernels for vector processors.
• Understand basic linear algebra functions used in AI/ML.
• Algorithm design (logic, critical thinking).
• Performance evaluation and optimization of applications for ARM architecture.
• Inferencing of ML models written in PyTorch/TensorFlow/Keras.
• Understand typical Open Source Library framework design.

Preferred Skills

• Strong programming skills and deep understanding of the ARM ISA.
• Understanding of algorithms suitable for vector and matrix accelerators.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Good understanding of optimizing linear algebra algorithms.
• Performance evaluation using QEMU, simulators, emulators, and real hardware.
