Job summary

JAKSON Group in India is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to handle incoming material inspection, QA activities for bought-out components, and supplier parts. You will ensure compliance with quality standards, and lead containment for non-conforming materials.

You will conduct root cause analysis, implement CAPA, coordinate with suppliers, procurement, production and engineering teams, and maintain quality documentation and MIS through SAP.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of Receipt Quality and Incoming Quality processes.
• Good communication with supplier and internal teams for analysis and defects.
• Hands-on SAP experience related to quality and material management modules.
• Familiar with quality tools: 7 QC Tools, CAPA, RCA, FMEA, VPPAP.
• Knowledge of engine/genset components and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming material inspection and quality assurance activities for bought-out components and supplier parts.

• Lead containment actions for non-conforming materials and ensure timely closure.
• Work on supplier audits, process validations, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure effective implementation of quality systems and adherence to plant quality procedures.
• Generate and maintain quality reports, inspection records, and MIS through SAP.
• Support new product development and localization activities from the quality perspective.
