Job summary

Aditya Birla Group in Rajasthan seeks a mining survey professional for Aditya Cement Works. The role entails quarterly and annual surveys of mines pits and limestone yards, updating statutory plans, and conducting slope stability checks for overburden dumps and limestone stocks.

You will coordinate drone surveys, prepare shape files and KML/KMZ submissions, and ensure DEM/orthomosaic accuracy with safety and environmental compliance at the core of operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in quarterly and annual mine pit and limestone yard surveys.
• Experience updating surface, geological, production, closure, environmental plans.
• Capability to assess slope stability of overburden dumps and limestone stockpiles.
• Knowledge of shapefile and KML/KMZ preparation for IBM and statutory bodies.
• Familiar with drone data collection and IBM portal uploads.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate drone surveys of Mines and upload data to IBM portal.
• Prepare shape files, KML/KMZ for submission to IBM and other agencies.
• Maintain DEM/orthomosaic data quality and support safety/environment compliance.
• Contribute to Kaizen, CAPA reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Description:

Quarterly & annual survey of Mines Pits & Limestone sweetener yard & stock piles of Limestone, coal & other additives used in cement plant.

Update all statutory plans & sections like surface plan, geological plan & section, production plan, progressive Mine closure plan, conceptual plan & section, environmental plan,

Conduct survey for slope stability of Overburden dumps and limestone stocks.

Coordinates for drone survey of Mines & upload drone data in IBM portal.

Preparation of shape file, KML/KMZ file for submission to IBM & other statutory agencies.

Knowledge of operation of Total Station, GPS, DGPS, drone survey.

Desired Competencies

Knowledge of digital elevation models (DEM), orthomosaics, or high-resolution satellite/drone imagery.

Knowledge of Datamine / Surpac (block model preparation & updation) and SAP.

Knowledge of Khasara & know about superimposing CAD file on Khasara map.

SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) along with Sustainability initiatives & System Compliances : Ensuring 100% compliance of all safety standards and all applicable recommendations related to their concerned area.

• Timely conducting scheduled CAPA round and reporting of accidents, incidents and near misses on occurrences in the area of concern in system.
• To implement improvement project to reduce repetitive problems/breakdown or losses.
• Timely submission of Kaizen, OPL, Good to fine, suggestion on system.
• To know about IMS and other systems requirement and documents for non-conformity in section during internal and external audits or assessments
