Job summary

FIS is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, REST APIs, and SQL Server. You will lead complex technical initiatives, participate in architectural discussions, and drive production support and security remediation while mentoring junior engineers.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable fintech solutions and contribute to automation, CI/CD, and performance improvements

Qualifications

What you will be doing

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications and services using modern software engineering practices.
• Lead the delivery of complex technical initiatives and participate in architectural and design discussions.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while driving root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and engineering productivity tools.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Implement secure coding practices and address application security vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to application reliability, performance tuning, monitoring, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, process optimization, and engineering best practices.
• Participate in production support, release activities, and critical incident management as required.
