Job summary

FIS Global Business Solutions India Private Ltd is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using the .NET stack and modern DevOps practices. You will lead complex technical initiatives, influence architecture decisions, and mentor junior engineers across fintech platforms.

You will also analyze production issues, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance software

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software development using .NET Core, ASP.Net, C#, REST APIs and SQL Server.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control systems, automated deployments, and DevOps practices.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production support skills.
• Experience working with highly available, business-critical systems in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of application security practices and vulnerability remediation.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives and influence engineering decisions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and business teams.
• Experience mentoring developers and contributing to technical excellence across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications and services using modern software engineering practices.
• Lead the delivery of complex technical initiatives and participate in architectural and design discussions.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while driving root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and engineering productivity tools.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Implement secure coding practices and address application security vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to application reliability, performance tuning, monitoring, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, process optimization, and engineering best practices.
• Participate in production support, release activities, and critical incident management as required.
