Job summary

Sangam Solar One Private Limited in Navsar is seeking qualified personnel to operate and maintain gas and chemical supply systems, including VDB and VMB, BSGS, and related equipment. You will monitor hazardous gases such as SiH, TMA, PH, BCl, H, NH, NO, N and handle hazardous chemicals like HF, HCl, KOH, HO.

You will ensure safety, respond to alarms, and maintain records. The role requires familiarity with P&ID concepts, valves, regulators and PLC/SCADA alarms, and the ability to work in shift

Qualifications

• Knowledge of specialty gas distribution and chemical distribution systems.
• Understanding of VMB/VDB, gas cabinets, scrubbers, and exhaust systems.
• Basic knowledge of P&ID, valves, regulators, pressure control, instrumentation, and PLC/SCADA alarms.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain gas and chemical supply systems.
• Operate and maintain VDB and VMB systems.
• Operate and maintain BSGS and related gas distribution equipment.
• Monitor hazardous gases: SiH, TMA, PH, BCl, H, NH, NO, N.
• Handle hazardous chemicals: HF, HCl, KOH, HO.
• Monitor critical parameters: pressure, flow, temperature, level, leakage, alarms.
• Troubleshoot valves, regulators, pumps, sensors, actuators, piping, instrumentation.
• Respond to leakage alarms and emergencies per safety procedures.
• Follow LOTO, SOP, PPE, permit-to-work, hazardous-material handling procedures.
• Maintain maintenance records and shift reports.
• Coordinate with EHS, facilities, process, instrumentation, and production teams.
• Support commissioning, shutdown/startup, inspections, and maintenance activities.

• Operation and maintenance of VDB (Valve Distribution Box) and VMB (Valve Manifold Box) systems.
• Operation and maintenance of BSGS (Bulk Specialty Gas System) and associated gas distribution equipment.
• Handling and monitoring of highly hazardous specialty gases, including:
• Silane (SiH)
• TMA (Trimethylaluminum)
• Phosphine (PH)
• Boron Trichloride (BCl)
• Hydrogen (H)
• Ammonia (NH)
• Nitrous Oxide (NO)
• Nitrogen (N)
• Safe handling and operation of hazardous chemicals, including:
• Hydrofluoric Acid (HF)
• Hydrochloric Acid (HCl)
• Potassium Hydroxide (KOH)
• Hydrogen Peroxide (HO)
• Monitoring gas and chemical critical parameters such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, leakage, and system alarms.
• Troubleshooting valves, regulators, pressure control systems, pumps, sensors, actuators, piping, and associated instrumentation.
• Responding to gas/chemical leakage alarms and emergency situations according to site safety procedures.
• Following LOTO, SOP, PPE, permit-to-work, and hazardous-material handling procedures.
• Maintaining maintenance records, checklists, logbooks, and shift reports.
• Coordinating with EHS, facilities, process, instrumentation and production teams.
• Supporting system commissioning, shutdown/startup activities, inspections, and maintenance activities.
