Position description: Responsible for all aspects of Software development within an embedded systems environment. Responsible for coding, developing and testing Application software systems or applications for software enhancements on new and existing products. You will be resolving customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements while contributing to long term technical strategies and architectures.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of Software development within an embedded systems environment. Responsible for coding, developing and testing Application software systems or applications for software enhancements on new and existing products. You will be resolving customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements while contributing to long term technical strategies and architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Algorithm Development:Design and implement real-time radar algorithms including PulseCompression, Moving Target Indicator (MTI), Pulse Doppler Processing,and CFAR (Constant False Alarm Rate) detection.


• Modeling &Simulation: Develop high-fidelity radar system models in MATLAB/Simulinkor Python to evaluate performance metrics like Pd (Probability ofDetection) and Pfa (Probability of False Alarm).


• Implementation: Port validated algorithms onto hardware platforms using FPGAs (Xilinx/Altera) or high-performance DSPs.


• Collaborate with firmware teams for VHDL/Verilog implementation.


• Clutter& Interference Management: Develop advanced techniques for cluttersuppression, jammer cancellation (ECCM), and side-lobe reduction.


• System Integration: Support the integration of signal processing software with RF front-ends and back-end data processors.


• FieldTesting & Analysis: Analyze real-world flight/field data to refinealgorithms and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on detectiondiscrepancies.
  

Category Requirements

Radar Fundamentals Deepunderstanding of Pulsed Doppler, FMCW, PhasedArray, and SAR architectures.

Digital Signal Processing Expertise inFFTs, Digital Filtering (FIR/IIR), AdaptiveFiltering, and Multirate DSP.

Tools Proficiency inMATLAB (SignalProcessing & Radar Toolboxes) and C/C++.

Hardware Awareness Familiaritywith ADC/DAC interfaces,high-speed SerDes, and FPGA-based DSP slices.

Advanced Topics Experience withMicro-Doppleranalysis, Angle of Arrival (AoA) estimation, orBeamforming is a plus.
