Job summary

Pressfit is seeking a Quality Control lead to independently oversee and guide the QC function. You will map quality processes across WI, PQC, OQC and own the final Stage Inspection (PDI). You will also maintain Batch Manufacturing Records and drive root-cause analysis of faults.

This role requires strong exposure to BIS testing, domestic LED lighting, and documenting compliance. Excellent organizational, time-management and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SPC, PPAP, FMEA and 7 QC Tools.
• Exposure to in-process/receipt QA, final QA, BIS.
• Good exposure to domestic LED Lighting.
• Knowledge of BIS testing and documentation.
• Product knowledge to identify parts and recommend replacements.
• Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide Quality Control independently.

• Maintaining and updating the Batch Manufacturing Records
• Faults Analyzing, its root cause.
• Considering all quality Related proposals in order to instigate the improvement of the quality system & operational procedures.

Requirements and skills

• Having good exposure of domestic LED Lighting.
• Knowledge of BIS testing & Documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate must be dip/ B.E /B.Tech - Electrical Engineering
• At least 2 year experience of QC from lighting industry.
