Job summary

PeopleStrong in Paradeep, Odisha, India seeks a Civil Construction Project Engineer to oversee piling project execution, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to cost estimates. Front‑line engineer with 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.

You will coordinate with clients for inputs, submit measurements for invoicing, guide junior staff, manage productivity norms, and ensure compliance with labour and foundation engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/BTech in Civil Engineering preferred.
• 5 years of experience in project execution for piling or similar foundation works.
• Front-line engineer with 3+ years in leadership.
• Knowledge of labour laws and productivity norms.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects per standard specification with quality and safety.
• Execute job as per cost estimate and productivity norms.
• Follow up with clients for input requirements and input timing.
• Submit measurements to client for invoicing and to accounts for sub-contracts.
• Guide subordinate staff and develop for succession planning.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards for foundation engineering.

Execution of the project as per the standard specification with quality and safety.

Execution of job as per cost estimate.

Execute the job as per set productivity norms.

Follow up with clients from time to time for all the input requirements.

Guide subordinate staff and develop for succession planning.
