Network Engineer Job Description

The Network Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, implementing, and supporting Juniper devices and solutions. Key responsibilities and skills include:

• Troubleshooting: Solving network issues, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions using Juniper devices and technologies.
• Implementation: Configuring and deploying Juniper devices and solutions, ensuring they meet network requirements.
• Support: Providing technical support to internal teams and customers, addressing questions and resolving problems.
• Network Knowledge: Proficiency in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.), network security concepts, and Juniper-specific technologies.
• Juniper-Specific Expertise: Experience with Juniper devices like ScreenOS and JUNOS, understanding of network management tools (FCAPS, SNMP), and experience with scripting (Shell, Python).
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex network problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Customer Interaction: Working with customers to understand their network needs and provide solutions.
