Your Impact
- Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering degree is required.
- Minimum 11 years experience in a reputed organization or consultancy.
- Detailed engineering activities for various equipment such as pumps, cooling towers, compressors, pharmaceutical machinery, boilers, material handling, etc., including preparation of technical specifications, technical data sheets, bid evaluation and vendor drawing reviews.
- Knowledge of unit operations such as distillation, filtration, heat transfer and design of heat exchangers, pumps, and hydraulics calculations.
- Knowledge of utilities systems – cooling water, boilers, compressed air, instrument air, nitrogen, etc.; tankages; bulk specialty gases, inert & hazardous gases, toxic, corrosive, and flammable gases.
- Understanding of exhaust abatement systems required by the specialty gas system and storage of leaking cylinders in cabinets or cylinder caskets.
- Sound knowledge of chemical distribution units and chemical waste systems.
- Participation in 3D model reviews, vendor data reviews and familiarity with national and international codes and standards.
- Ability to lead and guide a group of engineers and understand project requirements such as productivity, schedule, work‑hour control.
- Good understanding of downstream group requirements (piping, instrumentation, mechanical, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with clients and lead offices.
