Engineer - Maintenance

What you will do

• Review and monitor the annual maintenance plan for all process/utility equipment (e.g., cleaning and test machines for subassembly, dielectric and continuity test instruments, repair equipment, consumables filing & packaging machines, forklift and warehouse packaging machines) to ensure all process/utility equipment – chillers, compressors, DG, BMS, etc. – can run with proper and timely maintenance.
• Attend breakdowns of utility and process equipment.
• Coordinate and follow up with relevant subcontractors to ensure effective maintenance for all process equipment.
• Following group PE or site ME instruction, develop equipment maintenance processes and SOPs. Provide training to operators for daily maintenance (1st level of maintenance) of process equipment.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly hand-on checks and maintenance on utility/process equipment.
• Support repairs of process equipment, including internal or external repairs.
• Implement and monitor a maintenance management system and improve maintenance KPIs.
• Effectively manage all subcontract service contracts related to process equipment maintenance.
• Ensure accurate record keeping for all process equipment maintenance and repair files for facility and equipment.
• Perform tests, inspections or calibration as required and maintain related reports or certificates.
• Support calibration of process equipment as needed.
• Ensure all equipment and facilities meet statutory requirements and manage compliance applications.
• Propose budgets for maintenance and repair, and monitor/control related costs for cost effectiveness.
• Participate in various supply chain projects (e.g., PTM, new process deployment or lean manufacturing) to support equipment and facility preparation.

What you need to have

• A Diploma in Electronics, Industrial Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering (or related).
• Preferably a Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Background of utility maintenance (planned and unplanned) such as chillers, compressors, DG, HT/LT panels, transformers and power distribution systems.
