Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, software engineering, systems engineering or IT.
• 2+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or related field.
• Certification in Agile, Scrum, cloud fundamentals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain small to medium scale applications from conception to deployment.
• Take full accountability for quality delivery and ongoing maintenance of software solutions.
• Work independently when required, managing workload and priorities.
• Architect and build incremental additions independently for existing or new solutions.
• Contribute across the full technology stack from front-end UI to back-end infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot unfamiliar codebases quickly and effectively.
• Develop new features, implement bug fixes, and onboard new projects seamlessly.
• Engage with business stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions.

About the Role

As a self‑directed team member, you'll navigate diverse codebases, modernize legacy applications, and deliver end‑to‑end solutions both independently and collaboratively. You'll be the go‑to person for small to medium sized projects that require quick turnaround, technical expertise, and strong stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Project Delivery

• Design, build, test, and maintain small to medium scale applications from conception to deployment
• Take full accountability for quality delivery and ongoing maintenance of software solutions
• Work independently when required, managing your own workload and priorities
• Architect and build incremental additions independently for existing or new solutions

Technical Excellence

• Contribute across the full technology stack, from front‑end UI to back‑end infrastructure
• Dive into unfamiliar codebases quickly and effectively troubleshoot issues
• Modernize and refactor older applications to improve performance and maintainability
• Develop new features, implement bug fixes, and onboard new projects seamlessly
• Adopt a security‑first approach and produce secure, robust code
• Utilize AI tools to efficiently deliver application solutions

Support & Problem Solving

• Diagnose and resolve third‑line support enquiries across any codebase
• Fix bugs and issues in both familiar and unfamiliar code
• Take accountability for all code produced, regardless of authorship

Stakeholder Engagement

• Liaise directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver business value
• Communicate task status clearly and proactively with stakeholders
• Ask for help when required and elevate issues appropriately

Technical Skills

• Front-End: React and Angular frameworks
• Back-End: Strong understanding of .NET and C#
• Databases: SQL database experience

.Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, systems engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.

2+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or a related field required.

Certification in Agile, Scrum, cloud fundamentals preferred.
