Job summary

Hero MotoCorp Ltd. in Jaipur invites a Project Support Engineer (GRT) to study, analyse and interpret safety and CMVR regulations affecting current and upcoming two-wheeler models for domestic and export markets.

You will coordinate with regulatory bodies and the homologation team, represent the company in industry forums, and ensure alignment with SIAM, IMMA and other standards during model line-up.

Graduate engineer in Mechanical or Automobile is required; 3–6 years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer in Mechanical or Automobile fields.
• B.E./B.Tech degree required.

Responsibilities

• Study, analyse and prepare Hero MotoCorp position document w.r.t Safety and CMVR regulation/rules that impact existing and upcoming product line-up for domestic & export Market.
• Study international rules and regulations for Safety systems & subsystems for two wheelers and guide CoCs design groups to ensure compliance.
• Support Homologation Team for executing testing for domestic/export models.

Study ,Analyse, Interpret & disseminate the regulatory guidelines ,norms & requirements related to Safety System regulations specifically in Automotive Safety e.g. Brake ,Noise etc & other relevant Safety regulations for Hero MotoCorp Ltd.

Represent HMCL & industry forums regulatory meetings

1. Domestic - SIAM-2W-TC, TED 04, TED 06, TED-07, CED-22.5

2. Global - IMMA Meetings, SIAM-JAMA The candidate should take care of existing and future model line-up thereby ensuring that vehicles meet Domestic and Export Country Norms.

A Day in the life

Study analyse & prepare Hero MotoCorp Ltd position document w.r.t Safety and CMVR regulation/rules that impact existing and upcoming product line-up for both domestic & export Market (as and when notified by Government /Ministries/Regulatory agencies ) Study of the International rules and regulation for Safety systems & subsystems for two wheelers and guide Various CoCs design groups to ensure that organization goals & compliances are met. Support Homologation Team for Executing testing for domestic / export models
