Egis Road Operation India in Bengaluru, India seeks a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to lead electrical system design for building and infrastructure projects. You will own design deliverables, from power distribution layouts to complex calculations, and collaborate with MEP, structural, and architectural teams.

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, proficiency with ETAP/AutoCAD, and strong knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards.

• Design and develop power distribution layouts, single line diagrams (SLDs), and comprehensive electrical calculations including cable sizing, voltage drop analysis, and fault level studies
• Create detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and load calculations that meet project requirements and adhere to safety standards

What do we need from you

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 2-5 years of professional experience in electrical design and engineering for building or infrastructure projects
• Strong proficiency with industry-standard software tools such as ETAP, AutoCAD, or equivalent power system analysis and design platforms
• Solid knowledge of electrical standards and codes (IEC, IEEE) and their practical application in design
• Demonstrated expertise in power distribution systems, lighting design, and emergency electrical systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical challenges
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Proficiency in preparing technical documentation, drawings, and specifications
• Familiarity with site supervision and commissioning processes
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices and compliance requirements
• Project management fundamentals and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
• Preferred: Experience with power system studies, substation design, or industrial electrical systems
• Preferred: Certification in electrical safety or relevant professional credentials
