Job summary

Eaton Group in Pune, India, seeks an Electrical Engineering Analyst to analyze technical and commercial data of electrical components and subassemblies, driving cost-out and resiliency initiatives across LV/MV products. You will collaborate with global teams to identify opportunities and develop data libraries for ongoing improvement.

The role emphasizes data analytics, engineering fundamentals, and design knowledge to create new project opportunities and reduce new product development times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years with a Bachelor's degree or 2+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Experience in cost-out projects and data-driven engineering.

Responsibilities

• Analyze commercial and technical data of electrical components and assemblies to generate and support cost-out and resiliency projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Global procurement, product development, product lines, and suppliers worldwide.
• Develop data libraries and improve engineering data for LV/MV electrical products.
• Suggest cost-effective, technically compatible products from strategic suppliers and contribute to NPIs and resiliency efforts.
• Lead brainstorming, benchmarking, and collaboration with Should Costing, Sourcing, TCO, and plant buyers.

Job description

What you’ll do:

"The primary responsibility of this role is to analyze commercial, technical data of electrical components and assemblies, for genereating,supporting and executing differnt type of cost out, resiliency projects. It also requires contributing towards development and execution of categorywise strategies, in close colloboration with various cross functional teams like Global procurement organization, product development teams, product line managing teams,global sourcing teams and suppliers across the globe. The incumbent would be responsible for Engineering data improvement for various Electrical components or sub assemblies asscoiated with LV, MV products and contribute in data libraries development."

"The Incumbent also need to contribute in reducing new product development times, by suggesting cost effective and technically comptabile products from strategic suppliers of the category. The applicant should have capability to leverage data analytics, fundamentals of engineering, knolwedge of product design and development & ideation principles to create new project opportunities."

1. Data analysis, utilizing technical and commerical information and expertize, for Generating cost out opportunities- Resourcing, Negotiation and VAVE.
2. 2\.\ Cross functional colloboration for executing the cost out,NPI and resiliecny projects.
3. 3\.\ Understanding the requirements, proposing best possible solutions and communicating clearly
4. 4\.\ Familar with Standards(UL, IEC), preperation of test plans and validating
5. 5\.\ Data banks creation for specified Electrical products, working with contractual engineers
6. 6\.\ Conceptual or theoretical activities related to fundamentals of Electrical Engineering, physics,product design and development knowledge for ideas creation and execution
7. 7\.\ Colloboration with various teams like Should Costing, Sourcing, TCO, plant buyers etc., teams
8. 8\.\ Colloborating with supplier and internal customers for executing the cost out projects
9. 7\.\ Conducting brainstorming sessions and comptetior products benchmarking, in colloboration with cross functional teams to generate cost out ideas.

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s/Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering

"3+years of experience with Bachelors degree or 2 Years of experience with Masters degree."

Skills:

"Hands on experience on design and development of Electrical products and subsystems of - LV/MV.
Experience on Cost out projects, ability to handle multiple projects and exposure to SCM.
Experience on managing large data, data analysis, colloboration with different teams."
