Job summary

Eaton in Maharashtra, India seeks an experienced front-end systems engineer to support automation projects with minimal direction, interpreting requirements and guiding documentation within the design automation framework.

You will interact with product line engineers, create enhancement requests and automation scripts, support deployments, and deliver training and best practices to plant teams to maximize module utilization and system reliability.

Qualifications

• BE Electrical or Mechanical is required.
• 7–9 years of relevant experience.

• "A. Legacy Software Maintenance & Technical Support: Support and maintain existing legacy software systems, providing technical support to manufacturing teams and troubleshooting software issues.
• B. Electrical Drawing Automations & Process Improvement: Develop and maintain software to automate electrical drawings and optimize plant processes, enhancing productivity and reducing costs.
• C. Digitalization & Deployment Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance the plant's digitalization initiatives, assist in the local deployment of software solutions, and ensure smooth implementation and integration.
• D. Training & Documentation: Schedule and conduct end user training sessions, create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software systems, including user manuals and technical guides.
• E. Project Execution & Communication: Oversee the execution of systems projects, manage timelines and resources efficiently, and communicate progress and updates to plant staff, ensuring transparency and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
• F. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, recommending and implementing software system improvements."
