Job summary

Euler Motors in Delhi is seeking a skilled EV Battery Testing & Validation engineer. You will execute battery pack and system validation across pre-charge, OBC, fast charging, DCIR, HPPC, balancing, and isolation testing, ensuring safety and performance.

You will perform BMS hardware and functional validation including CAN, voltage/current accuracy, balancing, and fault protection, assess third-party BMS components, and collaborate with design, thermal, powertrain, and manufacturing teams to

Qualifications

• Formal BE/B.Tech in Mechanical engineering with EV focus.
• Strong knowledge of Li-ion batteries and BMS concepts.
• Hands-on experience with battery testing equipment.
• Knowledge of HV safety and CAN networks.
• Analytical mindset with troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Execute battery pack and system validation including pre-charge, OBC, fast charging, DCIR, HPPC, balancing and isolation testing.
• Perform BMS hardware and functional validation covering CAN, voltage/current accuracy, balancing, open-wire and protection functions.
• Conduct vehicle-level battery & BMS testing across 3W/4W platforms, including charging, discharging, EMC/EMI, isolation and fault testing.
• Validate third-party BMS and battery components against technical requirements, performance and safety benchmarks.
• Conduct advanced reliability testing using battery/cell cyclers, environmental chambers, vibration systems, UTM and other test equipment.
• Collaborate with Battery Design, BMS, Thermal, Powertrain and Manufacturing teams for DVP, root-cause analysis, test reports and corrective actions.
