Job summary

ACG World seeks a qualified control systems software engineer to configure and develop PLC and SCADA programs (B&R, Mitsubishi, Zenon) from master codes, flow charts, and GMP/GAMP standards to ensure on-time delivery for production machines as per Sales Orders. You will implement software tests, create ITR records, support FAT, document interfaces, and prepare operation manuals.

A degree in Electrical/Electronics with 4–6 years of design experience is required; pharma/ capital goods experience

• 4 to 6 years of experience in control systems software design and development.
• Degree in Electrical/ Electronics or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Configure PLC and SCADA software from master P&ID/ flow charts and release for customer software V1.00 or higher.
• Create software codes for additional requirements as per customer scope using company guidelines for level 1/2 machine function design.
• Create and document IIOT Tag list and interface functions.
• Provide machine documentation content including operation manuals and validation documents.
• Disaster recovery planning and documentation for PLC/SCADA/VFD/servo systems.
• Test and record ITR results using simulation software before production release.

Job description

Configure and develop software programs (PLC, HMI and SCADA) for the projects using Master codes and GMP/ GAMP and ACG Company validation and test standards in-order to achieve on time delivery in full, for production machines as per Sales Order.

Primary responsibilities

Functional

Core

• Configure PLC and SCADA software codes from master P & ID/ Flow chart, FS and release the same for customer software V1.00 or higher, as per customer Sales Order.
• Create PLC and SCADA software codes for additional requirements from the customer scope by using ACGE company software guidelines for software level 1 modules and level 2 & 3 machine function design .
• Create, test, release and document the IIOT Tag list and Interface function.
• Create and deliver the content (screen shots) to the documentation team for the machine documentation, including operation manuals and validation documents
• Create, hand over and store software backups for the customers.
• Execute and document the disaster & recovery process for PLC, SCADA, VFDs and servo systems.
• Testing and recording the software ITR results before releasing to production. (Using simulation software)
• Execute the machine I/ O testing

Internal process

• Impart training to QA/ CFT on new machines functions and special customer solutions.
• Supporting QA to execute machine integration test results (ITR) before factory acceptance test (FAT)
• Provide information related to software and machine functions to support the Leader of Design and Integration.
• Release Software updates for the retrofit business to support leader of the hardware engineering.
• Providing feedback process to the master software team

Minimum Requirement

Instrumentation

• Industry preference :- PLC and SCADA system house, OEM – capital goods/ pharma machine.
