Job summary

Micron Technology is actively seeking engineers to develop and deploy AI/ML models that validate design, optimize processes, and accelerate simulations. You will build co-pilot systems for engineers, automate workflows, and create data pipelines linking design, simulation, and manufacturing data.

The role leverages ML analytics and Python scripting to improve yield and quality across IC packaging, layout, and routing tasks, with collaboration across design, simulation, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

Job description

Roles & responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

• Develop and deploy Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning models for design validation, process optimization, and simulation acceleration
• Build intelligent design assistants and co-pilot systems for engineers

Mandatory Requirements

• Understanding of IC packaging, layout, routing, and simulation is preferred
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning and Data Analytics
• Proficiency in Python and engineering automation scripting
• Experience with data pipelines, dashboards, and predictive models

Additional/Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor packaging or ASIC/DRAM/NAND domains
• Exposure to digital twins or physics-informed ML
• Experience building engineering-focused AI tools or platforms

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's/master's in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Semiconductor Engineering
