Job summary

Comcast in Chennai seeks a senior machine learning engineer to design, test and deploy ML pipelines, mentor junior researchers, and align analytics with business needs. You will work with Python, SQL, and cloud platforms, contributing to time-series forecasting and anomaly detection while delivering scalable data products.

You will be part of an Agile team, collaborating with data scientists and engineers to translate complex problems into robust ML solutions that drive business impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience in creating, testing, deploying, monitoring and maintaining ML pipelines.
• Fluent with data manipulation and ML frameworks for EDA, feature extraction, modelling and experiments.
• Expertise in correlation analysis, classification/clustering, anomaly detection and time series forecasting.
• Strong Python background with clean, modular code following best practices.
• Experience using SQL data exploration and integration with analytical workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and products like Google Vertex AI, BigQuery, CloudSQL or Compute Engine.
• Ability to mentor junior data scientists and engineers; strong communication skills.
