Job summary

Comcast is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design and deliver full-stack AI-powered applications. You’ll work on agentic AI solutions, orchestrations, and enterprise integrations with a focus on scalable, secure UX-enabled platforms.

You will collaborate with AI/ backend engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ship robust features, maintain code quality, and participate in CI/CD, testing, and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of software engineering or full-stack development experience.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces for AI copilots, agent dashboards, workflow management, and analytics applications.
• Develop backend APIs, microservices, and orchestration services that support Agentic AI workflows and enterprise integrations.
• Integrate AI services, LLMs, and agent frameworks into business applications.
• Build interfaces enabling users to interact with AI agents, intelligent assistants, and enterprise knowledge systems.
• Develop and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) powered applications and search experiences.
• Implement authentication, authorization, security, and role-based access controls.
• Collaborate with UX designers, AI engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.
• Implement monitoring, logging, observability, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and production issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing initiatives.
• Document application architecture, technical designs, and implementation details.

Skills and Experience

• 5-8 years of experience in Software Engineering or Full Stack Development.
• Strong programming experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and Python.
• Experience building modern web applications using React, Next.js, Angular, or similar frameworks.
• Experience developing backend services using FastAPI, Node.js, Express.js, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks.
• Experience building REST APIs, Graph APIs, and microservices.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, or similar databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, API integrations, and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

AI & Agentic AI Skills

• Experience building AI-powered applications, copilots, intelligent assistants, or workflow automation solutions.
• Experience integrating OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar LLM platforms.
• Familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph.
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search concepts.
• Experience building conversational AI experiences, chat interfaces, and AI-powered user experiences.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, tool calling, function calling, context management, and agent orchestration.
• Experience integrating enterprise knowledge sources and AI search capabilities into applications.
• Knowledge of AI observability, evaluation frameworks, governance, and responsible AI practices.
